MRW worked with Leadership Greater Hartford on a multi-phase project to rebrand the organization in conjunction with its 40th anniversary. The project began with a comprehensive review of the organization’s existing programs to answer a basic but crucial question: at its core, what does Leadership Greater Hartford represent? The answer is exemplified in the “three pillars” of the organization: Community, Leadership, and Connections. These pillars informed every aspect of the organization’s rebranding, including a redesigned logo, overhaul of marketing materials, and new website.
What happens when you get together with over fifty educators to redesign and launch a new website in less than eight weeks? Ask the fine folks at Three Rivers Community College, because that's exactly what we just did!
Over an accelerated timeline, we worked with the College to create a custom design, overhaul its information architecture and content structure, develop the site in WordPress, and re-write all page content. Though not part of the original project scope, we were also able to integrate the College's external catalog to feed automatically into the website, creating a seamless experience for prospective students looking to learn more about what makes TRCC's academic opportunities special.
The new website is a visually attractive marketing platform designed to engage prospective students interested in both degree and workforce education programs. We couldn't be prouder to have partnered with TRCC!
In acknowledgement of National Equal Pay Day, the Massachusetts Office of the State Treasurer has launched its new EqualPayMA website. The site, designed and developed by MRW Connected, is dedicated to raising awareness about wage inequality and providing tools and resources for closing the gender wage gap.
We’ve been busy in MRW land the past few months working with some great new clients on a variety of interesting projects.
Tapestry Health has delivered family planning and reproductive health services throughout Western Massachusetts for over four decades. Just up the road from us in Florence, MA, Tapestry asked us to lead a complete re-branding of the organization, including logo design, messaging, and website development. We’ve worked closely with both the leadership and staff on the ground to understand what makes the organization a unique and crucial resource for the people it serves throughout the Pioneer Valley and Berkshire regions.
Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners
The MBLC is the agency of state government charged with the responsibility to maintain and improve library services for the people of Massachusetts. We’ve been working with the agency on a redesign of their current website, which includes a complete restructuring of their content layout to better serve their users, including library directors and librarians. The newly redesigned site is set to launch later this year.
Capitol Region Council of Governments
CRCOG is the largest of Connecticut’s nine regional planning organizations, acting as a voluntary association of municipal governments serving the City of Hartford and 37 surrounding suburban and rural communities. We’ve been working with their team to redesign their static website and develop it within Wordpress, allowing department heads to directly manage their content without technical knowledge. The site is set to launch this spring.
We recently partnered with the Office of Economic Empowerment, an agency of the Massachusetts Treasury, to design and develop a new Website for equal pay initiatives in MA.
The Website (EqualPayMA.com) will be the first of its kind in the country. Its goal is is to serve as a one stop shop for employers and employees seeking information about the gender pay gap in Massachusetts. It will include a wage equality tool kit for employers looking to close the pay gap, a salary calculator tool, savings and loan payoff calculators, facts about the pay gap, and a pay equity FAQ page.
As a mission-based organization, we're thrilled by this opportunity to help advance a cause in which we strongly believe. This is what it's all about!
